| Enable Autocorrect Functionality While Composing E-mails Within Gmail Posted: 24 Sep 2011 08:49 AM PDT One of the best thing I like about word processor software like 'MS word' is regarding their spelling auto-correct functionality. If you misspell any word, then as soon as you hit space key, the word will be corrected to its nearest word. The browsers of today like chrome, Firefox, etc has got this functionality of identifying the words with wrong spelling and red underlining them. Generally you will need to right-click the word and select the exact word from the context menu but it won't correct the word with a space key as on word processor software. ezAutoCorrect for GMail is a chrome extension that auto-corrects the words that has wrong spelling in Gmail. It functionality works like in your wordprocessor software like if you misspell the word and hit space key, it will correct the spelling to correct, suppose you type 'teh', it corrects to 'the', 'i' to 'I,' 'yuo' to 'you' and so on. Since its the first release of this extension, it has got only few words in the correct list. The only con about this extension is that it doesn't have the option to add words of your own, hope to see this feature in the next update. ezAutoCorrect for GMail (Chrome Web Store)       |

The web application developer, David R. Heffelfinger hasn't mentioned the exact name for this tool but this tool simply works great. | Remove Mouseover Preview Button from Google Search Result Pages Posted: 23 Sep 2011 10:57 AM PDT When you make any search on Google, a small arrow button will appear on the right side of each search result and on mouse hovering the button, it will show the link preview of the webpage in a box at the right side of the webpage. This Google search feature might be annoying to some users. Remove Google Preview is a simple chrome extension that removes the Google preview button from the Google search result so that no preview opens on mouseover. The preview of the website is only the snapshot of that website and also updated late. Since we cannot see the up-to-date website in the search preview, so its better to remove the preview and make search result clean. Remove Google preview (Chrome Web Store)    |
