"This 10 year old girl has surprised everyone by completing the tough CCNA certification, which only Engineering Graduates attempt" – The Dinamalar.
Born in a small middle class family from Trinelveli, the girl had speaking disability as an infant. Despite this trouble, the girl with the continuous encouragement she received from her Parents developed extra ordinary Memory Skills and started reciting Sanskrit Slogans on her First Birthday.
She started to have an overwhelming memory power which brought her an IQ of 225 at the age of 3. Now this girl has broke the record of Hyder from Pakistan by completing CCNA at the age of 10.
10-year-old K Visalini from Palayamkottai of Tirunelveli district is the youngest ever Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) who have cleared Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). She got 88% in the test of configuring and trouble shoot of Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN). She even scored 100% on implementing IP address schemes. But she is now facing trouble to get admission in class VIII due to her under age. She has already studied in more than five schools, informed Sethuragamaalika, Visalini's mother. Her parents are now trying to meet education minister C Ve Shanmugam to solve the problem.
"In each school, the authorities were worried that she is too young for a particular standard. She completed Classes 1-4 in two years. But after that the authorities started worrying about reaction of the education board if they find out that an eight-year-old is studying in sixth standard and asked us to leave. Since then we have shifted from several schools. She completed Class VI in three different schools. Some schools even said her speed of comprehension was difficult to handle," said Sethuragamaalika.
But her current school- IIPE Lakshmi Raman Matriculation School's principal Sankara Bagam spread a friendly hand for her. "She is an outstanding student. Despite being three years younger than her classmates, she is still the class topper. But in class, she grasps and finishes work in ten minutes while her classmates grapple for half hour. It gets difficult for teachers to give her more work and attention and at the same time pay attention to others," said Bagam. That's why the school authority requested the parents Kalyana KumaraSwami and Sethuragamaalika to get special permission to continue her study from the same school board which will enable her to appear in class X exam.
