Position: Open Text Developer
Location: Raleigh: NC
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
• Assist and document the Install/Build of the Open Text Content Server products.
• Build solutions for the business users; Configure and Implement Taxonomies, Metadate and Permissions
• Design and implementation of scripts to migrate content from shared drives to ECM
• Develop SharePoint (SP) and Open Text(OT) Templates that automatically create taxonomies, metadata and integrations between SP and OT
• Develop scripts for migration of Shared Drive Documents to Open Text
• Workflow development
• Customized search and report script development
• Integration to Line of Business systems (DMV STARS) and other services (AD)
• Integration of SharePoint, MicroStation, etc. to Open Text
• Search/Index Design
• Open Text Component Configuration
• Provide Open Text support to end users and knowledge transfer and training to the IT staff
Required Skills:
• Minimum of two Years experience in development on the Open Text Content Server enterprise content management system, specifically around Metadata, taxonomy, search design, workflows, and reports
• Minimum of one Year experience with Microsoft SQL Server database integration and understanding of Content Server Schema as well as query optimization
• Proven experience with all aspects of Open Text
• Demonstrable track record of deploying and managing Enterprise Content Management applications
• Open Text administration, patch, and upgrade experience
• Records Management implementation and support experience
• Experience with Open Text core modules, Workflows, RM Module, Classifications, RM Classification, etc.
Highly Preferred:
• Experience in integrating Open Text with SharePoint
