[HM:247913] Motorola to launch RAZR in India next week?

Motorola RAZR Front Motorola to launch RAZR in India next week?Motorola India seems to be planning to break its long smartphone release silence in India with the big RAZR launch next week.  According to Times of India, Motorola India will be introducing RAZR in the country as a part of high-octane global launch spree.

RAZR will be the first high-end Motorola Android smartphone to reachIndia in last one year; company had almost forgotten the market after launching Milestone XT720 and XT800 smartphones. We did see some silent entry-level debuts like Fire and Fire XT but no high-end devices.

In terms of tablets, Indians were comparatively luckier (or may be not), this US co. did release Xoom tablet, but with hefty pricing.

Coming back to RAZR, it was recently announced in US and is yet to make its debut in any market. It features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD display, 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual core processor, Android 2.3 with Motorola's custom UI and 8MP rear camera with front shooter.

It is also the thinnest Android smartphone in the world with 7.1 mm thickness and comes with Kevlar fabric and Gorilla Glass to increase durability. There is no word on the pricing right now, but we are expecting a price around 30K.

This will be the second high-profile launch after Samsung Galaxy Note to happen in the next two weeks.
