Re: [HM:254238] i m confused

Our Indian Law System................. No Words to Say.

When I see such NEWS (Crimes Against Women), I always found myself in big problem.
Should I continue to live in other country or go back to India to my mother, father, sisters with my wife?
Should I ask my mother, father and sisters to come here and live with me because India is not at all Safe Place for Women?

What should I do? Who is responsible for all this mess? How and who will clean this mess? Is it Indian Govt., Police, Law Makers, Panchyat's or Society, which one is responsible to clean all this or is it me, us, we? WHO????

Boys Boys Boys, Girls Girls Girls............ in India, no matter we have learnt anything or not, but one thing is for sure we are master.......... BLAME GAME!!!!

I am not in mood to give some long speech, But now time has come when we must change our thinking from Blaming others to take responsibilities and change.

In last, my apologies If hurt someone's feelings or said something unbearable to someone.

I am speaking here only about the punishment...

I want to quote the example of gulf countries....Why the crime rate (especially the crime against women) is very low....coz the punishment is very tough....

thieves get their hands cut after getting convicted....(just an example)

until n unless, the thieves, rapists, corrupt politicians won't fear the law...they won't stop..
the punishment should be justified but at the same time should be tough....

One example on how loose our law-system is....

A.Raja, Kalmadi etc who cheat India with thousands and lacs of Crores of money and still get bailed out
would be fined a penalty of few lacs or few crores
might get to spend few years in prison and that's it

who would not go to jail for lacs of crores of money and out of that, just give back some amount in the form of penalty..

the political party would support them (even if people and opposition's resistance grows, they would just ask him to resign and shift him to some other ministry)

there has to be stricter laws

yes i agree that' s what i wanted to say that the incident has come under the media so we are able to know this kind of incident is going on if not then they would have continued the same.

i will give u an example if it is raining outside u will wear a raincoat but if it is raining and u want to go out side what will happen u will get wet. let the security be perfect then we can go nightouts. What i feel.

now coming to punishment what punishment u will give in this country when u know about kasab and still he survives and the incident (kasab's ) occured in 21st century.

Well Sharma

There are two ways you can have a solution, preventing the problem and curing the problem.. What the panchayat trying to do is preventing the problem... But in a democratic country what ever citizen would love to have is the security..

There is no point in preventing a girl from going to pub. Everyone enjoys life and freedom and we are in 2012. It is about increasing the security for the public. 2mrw a girl might be coming late from her tuition studying for her exams and the same can happen. If we escort a men with her every time, all the girls in India will be needing an escort of men.

But the other solution would be to punish the people who abuse and molest women. We need to give them a severe punishment. So next time when a gang notice a girl coming from pub, they will not have intention to molest her but to control their balls because they will know the sequence of it.

Some people also blame the media for telecasting such kind of event. If this was not telecasted or recorded, it will simply be another news in paper. We see every day lots of rape, molestation of women etc, These kind of issues have to be sensational to make the public aware of the situation and warn the sleeping govt that it is sleeping still.

If the media has not made it, the 20 people would have been enjoying somewhere..

Dear members of the group please suggest way to choose the right one.

I was going through the news yesterday came along the two issues about assam and UP

Lets first talk about assam i agree what had happen to the girl was wrong, but i wanted to know that from where she was returning  if i am not wrong she is returning from a pub.

Now talk about UP's Diktat panchyat if watching such kind of incidents some of the panchyat people take a decision or ask the people in our society not to allow ladies below 40 to go for market without any escort. i dont think there is any thing wrong in the decision.

i dont understand why people and media dont understand that protecting our loved ones is not a talibani decision first let your government provide security then media condemn decision made by the panchyat.

i apology if i m wrong.
