[HM:258059] Train mishap update: K'tk MLA among 5 killed

Anantapur: In a fatal accident in Penukonda mandal of Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, a truck carrying heavy boulders hit the H1 AC boogie of Nanded express near Madakasira level crossing. Five people including Devdurg (Karnataka) MLA Venkatesh Naik were killed in this incident and 20 others were injured. The accident took place at around 2.30 a.m. when the train was on its way to Nanded in Maharashtra from Bengaluru.
